Challenge
Thomson Reuters sought to downsize from its sprawling 180-acre headquarters campus in Eagan, MN, to Class A office space with modern amenities and spec furnishings. This move meant facilitating not just one but two pivotal building transitions simultaneously.
The Solution
Content Studios collaborated with both the seller and listing brokers to identify project goals and build narratives and deliverables to
- Communicate directly to buyers’ desires and intentions
- Create a listing asset library to increase the ability to quickly customize and update future videos
- Facilitate virtual guided tours from a ‘firsthand experience’ point of view
- Create some wow factor that grabbed and held attention
The result was an Aerial Drone Video that immersed campus buyers in the 90+ acres of undeveloped land, Class A corporate headquarters, and state-of-the-art data centers of the property. A Showcasing Video to narrate the realization of Thomson Reuter’s key buying feature within the Class A building. A Customized Promotion Video to generate employee excitement and anticipation for the new space and move ahead.
Outcome
Both the old and new campus transactions were completed on schedule with employee buy-in. Incorporating Thomson Reuters’ branding into the Class A property Showcasing Videos helped buyers visualize themselves within the property and to take ownerhsip of the space.
Value Add
The campus is now being redeveloped in partnership with Ryan Companies, signaling a promising future for the Eagan, MN community.
